Sign up at Colgate to earn points for developing a good bedtime routine. You simply log each child's progress for each day they wash their hands, brush their teeth and read a book (or have someone read to them). When their log is filled, Colgate will send each child in your family (up to 10 children per email address) a free toothbrush!This is a great way to teach healthy bedtime habits that will follow them throughout their life. I also hope the parents to do the program with the child/ren to encourage them to do the same.
Everyone knows the importance of washing hands and brushing teeth but reading is often over looked. Reading is very important in our household. In fact, my son has quite an extensive library of books to read thanks to numerous yard sale, Goodwill & McKay's trips! Some books he loves are Good Night Moon (and the video on YouTube is cute too) , Boom Chicka Rock, and currently The Lorax. The Lorax is great since Earth Day is coming up on April 22. We bought the book and the plush Lorax from Khol's for $5 each on Saturday.
We love Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, as well. My son gets a free book every month until he turns 5. Check to see if it is offered in your area.
